Love this, Tracy! you know how I enjoy animals portraying human-like expressions/emotions and this fella(?)looks a little suspicious of the camera. or is it the artist? *haha* either way, IMO this is a success. what substrate did you use?
Thanks Billie :) Yes as soon as I saw his expression I had to paint him ;) By substrate do you mean the surface I used? If so :) I used stretched canvas. I would like to do one on arches watercolor paper next to see the difference in adhesion and texture, there are just not enough hours in the day!

i haven't dabbled with acrylics yet but i may.
