Watercolor Still Life of Nautilus Shell
This is a still life painted in watercolor of a nautilus shell. I can still see the curves in the shell everytime I close my eyes, I think they have been etched into my brain I starred at them so hard! It was fun to paint though and a nice change from what I normally do.

this is exquisite! you are the master of the subtle wash and gradation. i marvel at your talent. i also love shells.
thanks Billie :) yes it took awhile to figure out but was well worth the effort :)this shell made my eyes go buggy but I really enjoyed seeing it take shape
