March 3 - 15, 2009 - Federation Human Figure Show

My portfolio consists of highly realistic interpretations of the model. Although I focus on realism, my goal is not to imitate the reference material used but to obtain a truthful and accurate depiction of the subject. A strong likeness happens naturally during the drawing process. My portfolio mainly consists of custom commission graphite & charcoal and watercolor portraits drawn from my client's family photos of a favorite pet, baby, child or wedding portrait.

My god...you are the master of subtle washes/shading, Tracey! that skin looks good enough to stroke.
lol thanks Billie :) It is funny because I never seem to get it the same way twice... which is good I guess, I can't copy myself ;)
Congrats Tracey!!!!! I'm in, too, with Vantage Point and Being Shod. I don't know if I'll make it to see the show in person, but if I do, I'll definitely keep a look out for your pieces!!
Aweseome congrats to you too Amie!!! I kept checking your blog in case you had posted an update about it but looks like you have been very busy with the Oceans of Art. I am not sure if I will make it as well but will definitely look for yours if I can make it down. I really would like to see Being Shod in 'person' :)
